Can't Get A Job So...
....I might as well go back to blogging as my unpaid job. So here it is...for those few--maybe one if I am lucky---I am going to dive back into the blogosphere.
Even if it is an unpaid gig--so to speak---at least it is something to do. I am good at it. I get experience--even if it is self taught. And I am still getting paid offers...so I would be crazy to turn that down...
...cause $10 is $10...especially now-a-days!
Now all I have to do is start all over again....but isn't that what these hard times is all about--
Pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, brushing off the dust of disappointment, and making your own American Dream?!

Oh My Gosh...
I am so behind on my blogging. I didn't realize it was close to a month since I last posted. And this one will have to be short due to non-listening kids. But I just wanted to post a few pictures of Kincaid's first day of Kindergarten...
Kincaid didn't want to go to bed at a normal-school time. He learned real quick just how tired he could be and just how annoying mom could be with her camera and flash.
Kincaid wanted a goofy school picture...this was the best one. So here is Kinciad's first day of school--goofy style!
And here is the picture I wanted--Kincaid's first day of school--normal style. And there is Corrine--wishing she could join her big brother at school.

Baby Mourning Doves...
I have been meaning to post these pictures for a couple of weeks now and here they are.
We had some mourning doves make a home on top of one of our gutters. The 2 baby doves became too big for the nest so they decided to hang out on the lattace right outside our kitchen window. They were there for about 5 days.
Kincaid and Corrine just loved it. The would stand there and watch these doves for hours. They also got to see the mommy dove feed the babies. Kind of yucky, but cool for them to learn. We bought worms and put them out for the mommy. It was just so cool I had to share it. If you love Mourning Doves, then subscribe to my RSS Feed!

I am back, baby!
Hello again everyone! I am so sorry I just disappeared like that. I had some personal health problems I had to take care of. Then, our computer decided to do a slow death. So we had to start replacing parts and wiping hard drives.
Yes, I am in blog mourning for all of my blogging stuff I lost in the wiping of our computer.
But I am back...as long as we can stay ahead of our breaking computer. I do, however, have to re-evaluate my problogging, my number of blogs, and all that jazz. The burning the candle at both ends probably didn't help my health any either. But I just wanted to let everyone (if there are any readers left) know I am back but some things are changing. But just keep coming back!

You will never believe who actually wrote me back...
Ok...so I wrote Darren Rowse an e-mail...you know him...THE Problogger...and he actually wrote me back. If you are a blogger who are trying to be a great blogger, you not only know who he is but has probably memorized his blog backwards and fowards. And the guy actually wrote me back. I just had to tell someone (and my hubby is an eye roller and would not understand how big...i mean totally big this is)
I can't even concentrate now. How in the heck am I going to get any work done today. Yea..I am still going to tell my hubby and maybe he will actually be alittle (if not fake) excited for me. Maybe I should jump up and down to show him just how big this is. And maybe it was just one of his people who wrote me back for him, but still ...holy cow...this is going to make my month...if not my year. What a great way to start out my year...Happy New Year. It just goes to show ya...even the little blogger can still be heard!

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream Because of School Shots!
So as some of you may know, we moved from Minnesota to Iowa. In Minnesota, our kids shots were up to date.
So fast forward to our son starting pre-school. Here, in Iowa, his shots are not up to date...by alot...so many in fact, he has not been to school for 2 weeks. And he can't go back to school until his shots get up to date. And I can't get him in for shots until next week.
Now, I understand the reasoning behind it...so if my son get small pox or malaria, he won't give it to the other kids. But when was the last time any of your kids brought home small pox?
I thought about posting about this for the past 2 weeks and finally it made me mad enough to do a post about it. It kind of pisses me off that the people around here pressured us into starting our son in preschool...earlier than we had planned. They get him all excited about being in school, making great friends and learning alot. Then, take it away--making him wonder why he can't get on the bus when it goes by. I guess this post doesn't really have a point, except for me to crab how the laws here in Iowa are so different than in Minnesota. That is all.

Family Fun Time
Sickies are back!
So it has been awhile since I have updated. Well, there is only one thing to say...SICKIES. And we have it again. Now instead of the pukies...we have the cough and cold. Even the twins are sick. We have been sick so often for so long, I have run out of medicine. And we had tons a month ago. But that is the quick update. I will have to update on school matters later. Kincaid has missed alot of school the past month due to the sickies. But hopefully that will come to an end!
